Externally resembling a mini-PC, but with a couple of 10G SFP+ ports and space for a U.2 storage drive, the Minisforum Mini WorkStation MS-01 on Intel mobile CPUs has been introduced. Minisforum is preparing a PC type that’s atypical for the company. The model named Mini WorkStation MS-01, as you might guess from the name, is a workstation. However, it’s quite unusual. For example, it uses standard Intel Core processors, and moreover, mobile ones. To be precise, the Core i9-13900H, Core i5-12450H, or Core i9-12900H. One might think that this makes it a regular PC, but it’s not. For instance, it features two 10G SFP+ ports, three M.2 SSD slots, and a slot for a U.2 format storage drive.
