Lenovo announced the Xiaoxin 2024 all-in-one computers

Lenovo announced the Xiaoxin 2024 all-in-one computers, featuring 13th generation Intel Core H processors, to be released in January.

The design of the new Xiaoxin 24/27 2024 and Xiaoxin 27 Pro 2024 models is similar, available in black and silver. They feature a screen with three narrow bezels and a “chin”, a webcam, and a flat stand. Built-in speakers are expected, with components housed in the base. Xiaoxin 27 Pro 2024 will have a 2.5K display with a 100 Hz refresh rate. The reason for choosing 13th generation Intel Core processors over the newer Core Ultra is unclear, with newer chip models possibly arriving later.

The Lenovo Xiaoxin Pro 27 2024 is an all-in-one (AIO) PC launched in the Chinese market. It features a 13th-gen Intel Core H-series processor, with options including the i5-13420H and the more powerful i9-13900H. The PC offers 16GB of DDR5 RAM, expandable to 32GB, and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD for storage. The design of the Xiaoxin Pro 27 2024 is minimalist and slim, measuring about 15.8mm at its thinnest point.

The display is a key highlight, boasting a 27-inch 2.5K screen with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels and a 100Hz refresh rate. It covers 99% of the sRGB color gamut and is equipped with hardware-level blue light protection and a flicker-free screen, certified by Germany’s Rheinland for eye comfort. For sound, it includes voice noise reduction dual microphones and stereo speakers calibrated by Harman. Connectivity options include USB-A, USB-C, HDMI, and Gigabit Ethernet ports, and it supports Wi-Fi 6.

The Xiaoxin Pro 27 runs on Windows 11 Home Chinese Edition and comes with a wireless keyboard and mouse. It’s available in two colors, Cloud Shadow and Deep Space, and is priced at 5399 Yuan (approximately $762). The release of the Xiaoxin Pro 27 outside China is not yet confirmed.

The Lenovo Xiaoxin Pro 27 2024 stands out in the all-in-one (AIO) PC market with its blend of stylish design and robust performance. Its 13th-gen Intel Core H-series processor, particularly the i9-13900H, positions it as a powerful option for both professional and personal use. The 16GB DDR5 RAM, expandable to 32GB, along with a 1TB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD, provides ample speed and storage for most computing tasks.

Its slim design, measuring just 15.8mm at its thinnest, makes it an attractive addition to any workspace. The 27-inch 2.5K display, offering a 100Hz refresh rate and 99% sRGB coverage, is geared towards users who value high-quality visual experience, whether for work or entertainment. This is enhanced by the hardware-level blue light protection and flicker-free certification, making it easier on the eyes during extended use.

For connectivity, it’s well-equipped with USB-A, USB-C, HDMI, and Gigabit Ethernet ports, alongside Wi-Fi 6 support. This variety of ports ensures compatibility with a range of peripherals and internet options. The included voice noise reduction dual microphones and Harman calibrated stereo speakers suggest an emphasis on clear communication and immersive sound, potentially appealing to users engaged in video conferencing or multimedia consumption.

Coming with Windows 11 Home Chinese Edition and bundled with a wireless keyboard and mouse, the Xiaoxin Pro 27 offers a complete package out of the box. The color options, Cloud Shadow and Deep Space, add to its aesthetic appeal, making it a stylish choice for modern office spaces or home setups.

However, the price point of 5399 Yuan (about $762) might be a consideration for potential buyers, especially when compared to other AIO options in the market. Additionally, the availability of the Xiaoxin Pro 27 outside China remains uncertain, which could limit its accessibility to a broader audience.

The AIO design, while sleek and space-saving, does bring considerations regarding upgradability and repairability. In the case of AIOs, if one component fails or becomes obsolete, it might render the whole unit less useful. This is a factor for potential buyers who prioritize longevity and upgradability in their computing devices.

Overall, the Lenovo Xiaoxin Pro 27 2024 represents a blend of style, performance, and functionality, suited for users looking for a powerful and visually appealing AIO PC. Its features cater well to a range of activities, from professional work to multimedia entertainment, making it a versatile choice in the AIO market.
