RTX 4070 Ti SUPER versions are expected to replace the existing models and bring a performance boost while keeping prices at approximately the same level.

On January 8, at the CES 2024 exhibition, NVIDIA will present three models: GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER, , and GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER. The first will receive a 22% increase in the number of CUDA cores, 7168 instead of 5888, leading to an increase in TDP from 200 to 225 watts.

The GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER will be based on the full, uncut version of the AD103 graphics processor with 10240 CUDA cores, only 5% more than the regular GeForce RTX 4080. However, perhaps the most impressive is the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER, as, in addition to a 10% increase in speed, it will also receive 16 GB of GDDR6X memory instead of 12 GB.

As previously reported by insiders NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER, 4070 Ti SUPER, and 4080 SUPER to start selling in January

Thus, the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti eliminates the main drawback of insufficient VRAM volume, and the new SUPER model becomes one of the most interesting in terms of the balance between performance, technology, future-proofing, and a reasonable price for a graphics card of this class.

Apparently, with the release of the updated GeForces, the competition in the high-end segment will become even more intense. The additional 4 GB of memory in the slightly more power-hungry Radeon RX 7900 XT stops making it such an obvious choice even for gamers purchasing a video card for the long term.
