RX 7600 XT to Feature 16 GB of Memory: Big Surprise from AMD

Gigabyte has revealed the memory capacity of the upcoming Radeon RX 7600 XT graphics card.Twice as Much as Radeon RX 7600. There were rumors that this accelerator would have 10 or 12 GB of video memory, but it turns out there will be more – a full 16 GB.

Radeon RX 7600 XT

In the Eurasian Economic Commission database, two variants of the 7600 XT from Gigabyte appeared – the Radeon RX 7600 XT Gaming OC 16GB and the Radeon RX 7600 XT Gaming 16GB. The memory capacity is already indicated in the names.

The other specifications of the rx7600xt are unknown. According to preliminary data, this video card will be built on a cut-down version of the Navi 32 GPU. Given that the Radeon RX 7600 XT will have more memory than the amd rx 7600, the memory bus width should be less than 192 bits, otherwise, the Radeon RX 7600 XT might cannibalize sales of the older model. Rumor has it that the Radeon RX 7600 XT will be the last new model in the Radeon RX 7000 series – after which the next series of graphics cards will be released.

The AMD Radeon RX 7600 XT is a performance-segment graphics card, launched on May 24th, 2023, and is based on the RDNA 3 “Navi 33” GPU. It’s aimed at mainstream users and offers high performance at a good value. The card features advanced AMD RDNA 3 compute units, second-generation raytracing accelerators, and new AI accelerators, delivering remarkable performance and maximizing graphical fidelity. It supports DirectX 12 Ultimate, ensuring compatibility with modern games and upcoming titles that will utilize hardware-raytracing, variable-rate shading, and more.
