The Samsung Galaxy S24 Will Have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3

…But Not Everywhere

A user on social network X, under the username @WigettaGaming, has published a list of specifications for all three upcoming Galaxy S24 flagships. It seems Samsung will return to using its own Exynos processors, but not in all models and not in all markets.

According to the new information, the Galaxy S24 Ultra and Galaxy S24+ will only be available with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. However, the base model Galaxy S24 will be released with both the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and the Exynos 2400 — the former will be intended for the US and Canadian markets, while the latter will be shipped to other regions.

The other specifications show minimal differences from their predecessors. The Galaxy S24 Ultra will feature a flat 6.8-inch screen with Quad HD+ resolution, a 1–120 Hz refresh rate, and a brightness of up to 2600 nits. The same display, but with a 6.7-inch diagonal, is announced for the Galaxy S24+. The standard Galaxy S24 will have a 6.2-inch screen with Full HD+ resolution, and the refresh rate and brightness are the same as in the higher-end models.

Only one change is noted in the cameras — a new 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom in the new samsung galaxy, replacing the 10-megapixel with 10x zoom. The other cameras remain the same: a 200-MP main camera, a 10-MP with 3x zoom, and a 12-MP ultra-wide-angle. The Galaxy S24 and S24+ are expected to feature a 50 MP main camera, a 10 MP telephoto with 3x zoom, and a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle camera.
