4K UltraGear OLED Gaming Monitor with Dual Mode

LG has unveiled a remarkable line-up of six UltraGear OLED gaming monitors: the 27-inch model 27GS95QE, the 32-inch model 32GS95UE, the 34-inch 34GS95QE, the 39-inch 39GS95QE, and two 45-inch models, the 45GS95QE and 45GS96QB. The standout star of this announcement is the 32-inch LG UltraGear OLED 32GS95UE. According to the manufacturer, it is the first 4K OLED monitor capable of operating in two modes with different resolutions and refresh rates.

The UltraGear OLED 32GS95UE allows users to switch between a 4K mode (3840 × 2160 pixels) at a 240 Hz refresh rate and a Full HD mode (1920 × 1080 pixels) at a 480 Hz refresh rate with the press of a button (either a “hotkey” or a joystick on the monitor itself). The monitor features a 16:9 aspect ratio.

Additional features of the UltraGear OLED 32GS95UE include a built-in sound system with two subwoofers, supporting spatial sound technologies such as Pixel Sound and DTS Virtual:X.

For the 34-inch UltraGear OLED 34GS95QE and the 39-inch UltraGear OLED 39GS95QE, the manufacturer offers a resolution of 3440 × 1440 pixels. These monitors adopt a 21:9 format and are equipped with curved displays with an 800R curvature radius. The same curvature radius, aspect ratio, and supported resolution are announced for the two 45-inch models, 45GS95QE and 45GS96QB, with the latter featuring built-in speakers.

The smaller 27-inch UltraGear OLED 27GS95QE model is specified to have a 16:9 aspect ratio and support a resolution of 2560 × 1440 pixels.

All the displays in the LG UltraGear OLED range cover 98.5% of the DCI-P3 color space. They all boast VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification, indicating the ability to produce deep black colors. Furthermore, all new models are compatible with NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro image synchronization technologies.
